Trivium + Quadrivium = (Septivium) = Seven Roads
Seven Roads was the name of a San Francisco bookstore, a favorite of my college years but long defunct, a name inspired by the components of the classically-derived education known in the Middle Ages as the Trivium and the Quadrivium, or the Seven Liberal Arts. I take the name as an emblem of the hope that somehow a diverse set of interests intersect somewhere in a meaningful way.
